...thank GOD we finally know the identity of deep throat, i know it has been one of my most serious concerns for YEARS.
2.5 weeks of 3rd year left to go. thats exciting!

the self preserving manstick
me: the oddest thing happened this evening
Steve: what was that?
Steve: did neal fall in slow motion?
me: i put a load of laundry in the dryer and about 30 minutes later there was this horrendous snapping sound
me: and then the dryer stopped
Steve: did a belt break?
me: (only one person per relationship can fall slowly!!)
Steve: I thought your father and neal bonded over fixing it
me: so i went to the dryer, and the door was open, not as i left it
me: and there was something silver on the floor, which hadnt been there
Steve: my dear watson!
Steve: a cule
Steve: clue
me: my first thought was that something inside broke / snapped and a piece of the dryer had been extruded
me: then i looked closer, and it was neal's man stick (as i like to call it, it is really blistex clear advance, for men--doesnt make your lips shiny)
me: the manstick had aparrently gone into self preservation mode and opened the dryer and shot itself out!!
Steve: man stick, wonderful

neal
so, i got new glasses yesterday
yes, they are big, yes they are a little loud...
neal said that i look like (upon the demand of his honest opinion) "an anime chipmunk" i dont think that is the very nicest thing anyone has ever said to me...
also, it has been 3654 days that my boobs and i have been together as such. yay, i guess
beth got me the best of will ferrell on snl for my birthday, this is very exciting. the most exciting part is that i found my (or one of my) favorite sketches. where will ferrell and ana gasteyer (or whatever it is) are parents of sarah michelle gellar and they are eating a very awkward dinner and will ferrell demands respect, citing that at work people fear him, and that he, and i quote "I DRIVE A DODGE STRATUS!"

miscellany
so, this weekend kristi got married. it was an awesome wedding, she looked absolutely georgous. and it was the most fun that i have had at a wedding.
nothing too exciting for my birthday, stopped by kristi's day after brunch, saw neal's mom, hung out with suzie and riley then watched tv while neal studied.
here is my toe 20 days after i dropped the door on it. after the podiatrist removed most of my toenail, shockingly, i kept playing it and removed more of it myself.
of course, i painted my toenails with the color kristi wanted us to use for the wedding...and i included the remainder of my injured toenail

toe day 11
so, now my nail is coming off, half is detached from the nail bed. at my cuticle you can see the end of the nail where it has broken up and the what not.
i am going to my podiatrist tomorrow, i hope he will just take it off, i think that will be easier in the end...
