Forced update

Hello faithful readers!

I've had a few good events over the past few weeks! First, I got my bonus check for 1st quarter a while ago, and blew half of it on a new PS2 and some games for it. Bought FFX and I've been playing that. Definately was alot easier to get into than FF7 and FF8, but FF7 just didn't do anything for me. =/ dunno why. Second, still no official g/f but I have a few leads. Third, mike and i raced our cars, GTO and STi respectively. He only pulled away for a bit b/c my shifting sucks and i was scared he was going to run into me along the curve. Still pretty sweet. We hit about 80 and then i broke. Got a bit nervous. ^^;

Overdue Update

Hey everyone!

Work and the new apt have been going well. I have my new computer up and running on my new desk and so forth. Im still making fun of righties at work which is always fun.

Now for the major news: This saturday (the 2nd) not only is it Neal's Bday, but I'm also picking up my new silver Subaru WRX STi!!

This week has been painful, constantly thinking about it. How fun it will be to drive around, shifting gears... *shudders in extacy*

2days, 12 hours, and 7 minutes until i meet dan, and ben at my rents' place to go to cincy to pick it up!

Hola! I'm now at my new place in Beavercreek (even tho our mail is delivered by Washington township) in stonebridge apts!!

hmm... few disappointments on the move: 1) washer and dryer... not here... landlady swore they were here... but they're not... *shrug* 2) my toilet is weird, the bowl doesn't really empty and ... well i'll call the super about it.

My cable DOES work however! *gives Time Liar Cable the bird* So! now i have to find a new desk for my new PC.

Your friendly neighborhood engineer is changing locations this Saturday, Feb 26th! Not only will my new apartment be closer to work, closer to my friends, and closer to the good stuff, but I will also no longer have to worry about getting hit by random bullets from the crazy neighborhood crack dealers! (Ask me about the semi-auto I heard, I dare you!) Friday night I will sign the lease and then start moving over some small stuff. Sunday afternoon I should have everything moved out and cleaned out of my current apt in Dayton. One thing is for sure: I have alot of junk. I've spent about an hour cleaning up and i've already got about 5 bags full of crap and magazines and newspapers and other crap that I'm not going to use and thus needs to be gotten rid of.

I'm finding alot of "too small" clothes, so I might also be making a trip to the Salvation Army. Also, I have a single bed (which hasn't seen any action) that is available. If you need it, ask! :)

back to cleaning.....

General Update and Private Parts

Got my MB, vid card (yes neal it's a GT) and DVDburner today. A day ahead of schedule from newegg.com. props to them

Training this week for the DT2 fluid station and 4" print heads. it's kinda repetative but it's nice to get some more secrets about the software and hardware and some trouble-shooting tips. Also, i'm partnered with a lesbian in our lab group. She keeps talking about her wife and it's very distracting... esp with my imagination.

Sad news today: Anish has left. Won't have to clean up after him now, but it will be admittedly lonely. I do kinda feel bad for him being in a new city with out a roommate or his wife.

time to start looking at cases and p-supplies :D

Kodak adventures

Today two awesome things happened!

1) I got my new business cards for my position at Kodak Versamark, and

2) We got our company bonuses today! Usually if our company meets our sales goal we get a 6-9% bonus ontop of our quarterly pay. This quarter we did so well that all the employees got 21%!!!! Too bad that I only had 3 weeks of pay on Q4 2004... so i got like $350. That won't even cover my new video card! ;;

PS: Neal Bortz is a jackass!
