Well! Interesting turn of events.

Well! Interesting turn of events.
As we all know I'm currently unemployed and can't even seem to get a
job at a local book store, much less something even related to the
engineering field. So yesterday I get this call from Rob @ Primerica
telling me about a possible job opportunity with them. I'm seriously
considering it since I have no current opportunities available to me,
whatsoever. Every engineering job I've applied for seems to be caught
in the web of red tape that is HR. So I'm going to Columbus tomorrow to
check it out. They've got me scheduled for a group
introduction/meeting/interview thingy for noon tomorrow where I'll
learn about their products and services. At least I'll have a fun road
trip to Columbus. Mebbe I'll bug Nick too while I'm out there. Also:
congratulations Nick! ^_^
Also: THF51/NIN18 yay! ^^;

Thanks to Bondii for this

Thanks to Bondii for this one:
"I am the very model of a modern major-general, with information
vegetable, animal and mineral. I quote the kings of England and know
all the fights historical, from Marathon to Waterloo in order
categorical. I'm very well acquainted with all matters mathematical, I
understand equations, both the simple and quadratical; about binomial
theorem I'm teeming with a lot o' news - plus many clever facts about
the square of the hypotenuse. With many clever facts about the square
of the hypotenuse. With many clever facts about the square of the
hypotenuse. With many clever facts about the square of the
hypotepoteneuse....I am well versed in integral and differential
calculus, and know the scientific names of beings animalculous. In
short in matters vegetable, animal and mineral, I am the very MODEL of
a modern major general."

Happy Easter! yes, two weeks

Happy Easter!
yes, two weeks later, I've still no job. STILL waiting to hear from
Nextel. STILL substitute teaching. STILL waiting to hear from several
other companies with regards to an engineering position. good news: My
uncle Rich saw a billboard for RAYJOBS.COM which are apparently hiring
engineers. I checked out the site and they had some good stuff that I
might be able to get selected for. The jobs that I appeared to be
qualified for were design engineering and materials testing, both of
which would require minimal training. They had some unusual engineering
types there such as Microwave engineer and Electro-optic engineer,
which made me wonder what schools teach those queer disciplines. oh,
and the Daily Buzz's Executive Producer looks like George Lucas.
seriously.
