HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!! I
HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!
I was planning on going to the Pub today, but I might just stay home
with a few Guinness instead. Good news updates:
1) Centerville FINALLY called me on Monday. I substituted for a
Bio/chem teacher at the high school. The kids were pretty well behaved
and no real incidents. Although, I did get to make fun of a kid. And
yes, Tony was right: there are a lot of hot girls in the High School.
:P
2) Turned in my Nextel application yesterday morning. This would be a
very nice deal if I could get this job. $7.25/hr +commision, low cell
phone rate plans, 20-30hrs/wk, and it will get me out of the frickin'
apt! I'm definitely excited. 3) Sarah D. messaged me about a possible
"guaranteed" job opportunity at RT Environmental in NJ. I thought:
AWESOME!!! heh. But we shall see, for nothing is "guaranteed" until the
deal is closed. So, to move out to NJ could be an interesting
experience! City life, new area, new car, fresh meat; all kinds of new
things. Too bad I'll be so far from my parents; it will make paying my
dad back for the car loan more difficult as well as letting my friends
drive my new STi. ^_^ I looked at some apts in the NJ/Philly area and
they weren't TOO expensive. I might just move into the same complex as
Sarah if she gets a kick back. The apartments are decent and the
parking was good (unlike Wyoming Hills -.-). We shall see how this
progresses after I send my resume today. Wish me luck! ^_^

yay! THF45/RNG22! And now for
yay! THF45/RNG22!
And now for real news: Centerville hasn't called me at all, and Tony
claimed that his parents hadn't seen me on the list. If this doesn't
work out, hopefully I will be able to find something else. Such as
perhaps working as a sales person at the Nextel Sales Location in
Miamisburg! Turns out that one of my former TKD club members is now an
Assistant Manager there. In addition, they had to recently fire some
employees for stealing some stuff and possibly embezzlement; I don't
know all the specifics nor do I need to know or care! The point is that
1) I need a job 2) they might have a job for me where I could possibly
work 30hr/wk ^_^ 3) George might actually get a cell phone!!!!
Unfortunately I know nothing of their system/network or how reliable
their phones and connections are. Doesn't matter seeing as how I could
get a discount phone and service AND a job! ^_^ NASIC: still no word on
an interview. I plan on calling perhaps in the next 2 weeks to bug them
again to let them know that I'm still *VERY* interested. It has started
to raise questions as far as what happens after Anish graduates, where
would I live, what car should I buy.... And to this I can only say:
I'M FRICKIN' UNEMPLOYED! :( Oh well. Shortly I will have a job! Just a
matter of time and patience. Dan (elder) is still unemployed. I wish he
would try to get a job. Honestly, the internet isn't all THAT
fascinating that he wouldn't be able to find something. Mebbe after I
get a job I should put a collar on his neck and drag him around to
places that he would be "interested" in working. I wonder if he ever
got a chance to talk to MetLife after they sent him that advertisement
about selling insurance. He should follow up on that. He should also
start lifting more. He's huge already and has a large frame. I'd bet
that he could be as big as one of those guys in the strong man
competitions. Not that he *should* get that big.... After all, we don't
want him looking ridiculous. ;)
