Happy New Year

I'm bad at blogging. BUT, I might have some major life changing stuff coming up in next month. I'll post when I know more.

Turtle Rape

I haven't updated since July? I guess my life isn't very interesting. I actually may have some things coming down the pike worth talking about, but until then, watch this turtle rape.

Tiny amount of comedy.

I'm really bad at this blogging thing, aren't I? I know I haven't updated in a while, but to make it up to you, here are some "funny" things I worked on for the show this week.

First off, here's a very short, and very stupid piece of comedy about Lance Bass coming out of the closet.It's not the gut-bustingest bit ever, but it is better than my youtube rating would indicate.

Second, here is this week's animation, also unpopular on youtube, but I like it.

And finally, here's a joke I wrote on Monday, that I couldn't find a place for, so I'm donating it to my blog.

A bus full of Lebanese refugees was destroyed by an Isareli rocket on Monday. Turns out Isarel did the refugees a favor, since they were on their way to see "Lady in the Water."

Minor Internet Fame

So on Tuesday, I did a bit (one that did not go over well at work, by the way) about "The Omen." I wasn't crazy about it, so I didn't put it on my youtube, but I did pu it on my myspace videos. I didn't promote it at all, besides putting it on my friend Jen's myspace page. I checked it today, and it has 1200 views. In one day. This makes me feel bad about some of my other work, which I feel is much stronger. ALSO, when exporting it to quicktime so I could put it on the web, my editing program put in an editing mistake that was not in the original. ( I have had professional television editors confirm this) So my most popular web video is something that I'm not very proud of, and it has an editing miskate. Great. If you are curious, the bit it below.

Actually, now that I think about it, the video sections on the Daily Buzz website that feature my content have recieved hundreds of thousands, possibly millions of hits, so this isn't really my most popular thing on the web. I still feel bad about it though.

Ridiculous Viewer Email Vol #1

So I am thinking of adding a feature to this site, where once a week I publish a ridiculous email that was sent to the show. Below is one of my favorite emails ever. Very insightful.

In ref. to the confederate flag topic...first of all, the flag with all the conflict is strickly the battle flag from the civil war. 2ndly, the civil war was for freedom. Linclon didnt like the fact the south was treating the "slaves" more like family and friends then "slaves". The north attacked the south, they were just deffending themselves. As for the heritage, yes, my 5th great grandfather fought and died. Since then, the battle flag has flown in every yard in my family as well as mine. Its part of my family history and heritage. "Gods & Generals", good movie that explains alot of things. I would highly recommend it. Dont bash things until you know what they mean. If people want to be mad about slavery, there looking at the wrong flag!

Hu Jintao

I but together a comedy bit about Chinese President Hu Jintao visiting the United States this week. I knew it was stupid, but I thought people would at least get it. Several of the high level people at the show had NO IDEA what the bit was about. Some even thought it was about the Chinese eating dogs. I've posted the bit below. Is it that complicated? Let me know what you think.
