Beaten to the punch.
Dammit, everytime I have a good idea, someone beats me too it. This is no exception.

I are the Winar!
So about a month ago some friends from work and I took part in the Orlando 36 hour film contest. The award ceremony was yesterday, and it turns out that we won not only the award for best use of genre, but also the best film overall in the professional category; the "best picture" award of the competition. The prize is supposed to be worth over $10,000, but the most of that is a free day of shooting at the Disney backlot here in Orlando.
In other news, I'll be back in Dayton in May for a few days.

The Interns, VOL. II and MORE!
So a few weeks ago, a few of my friends from work and I got together and made a little short film for the Orlando 36 hour film festival. I just got word today that we won some kind of award for it. Chad Jamian, one of the stars of the film, is a Daily Buzz intern, and he's put the film (it's the last video clip) up on his website. If you are intersted in old shirts, you also might want to check out his online store.

Update
I'm sorry I haven't been updating here...my internet was out for about a week, and I've been busy this week getting ready for a mini vacation to maimi. I'll try and have something clever to say when I get back next week. In the meantime, there is a good change that Mini-Kiss will perform on the Daily Buzz sometime soon. More mini-kiss here.

server move
All blogs on zenchou.com have been made read-only (no new posts or comments) while we complete a server move. I'll update this notice once the move is complete, and full access is restored; hopefully no more than 48 hours from now.
Thanks for being patient :)
UPDATE: FULL ACCESS HAS BEEN RESTORED. We are now running on the new server. There is some system tuning to be done, but everything should be operational at this point.
Ciao,
Jim
