america is great, is what other contry would secure FBI documents about a presidential candidate be contained in someones kitchen.

The documents were aquired by a FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) request...they are just copies. The orgininals are safely in that big warehouse where they store the "Lost Ark."

To quote "Family Guy" and our beloved Webmaster Jim:
IN COMMUNIST RUSSIA, FILES STEAL YOU!
Now, am I missing something? Outside of the obvious security hole in this man's personal kitchen, what's the big deal that publically released COPIES of Kerry's dossier have been PARTIALLY stolen? As Brendan has mentioned, the originals are safely buried next to the everlasting symbol of God's covenant to never let the global sewer back up again. With the orginals proteced by a gilded box capable of melting Nazis, there's no concern of losing historical record. And if there was anything particularly damning to Kerry in the documents, they've been publically available for some time and still are. It's not like some new dirt might surface.
So, what's the controversy?
