The Grip Who Stole Christmas
All the hosts on the Buzz liked Christmas a lot
But the Grip, who worked on the other side of the camera, did not
The Grip hated Christmas, the whole Christmas season
Now please don’t ask why, no one quite knows the reason
It could be perhaps that the lights were too bright
It could be his headset was on too tight
But I think that the most likely reason of all
May have been that his paycheck was two sizes two small
“I hate that Ron Corning,“ the Grip thought with a scowl just like Satan
“I hate that Andrea, Dao, Mitch and that other guy Clayton”
The Grip thought of a plan, then he smiled because
He’d make sure that this Christmas was the last for the buzz
Late afternoon, when they all were asleep
The Grip he sneaked in, and around he did creep
With paper the printers and copiers he did jam
He deleted the writers spell checking program
He took lights off the cameras, so the hosts wouldn’t know where to look
He took all the pens, he took the fez, but that’s not all he took
He took Dao Vu’s glasses, He told the camera men to be late
He dumped all of the food off the craft service plate
He took Clayton’s Hairpiece, He took Mitch’s Honey
The Last thing the Grip took was the producer’s big bag of money
The Grip was sure that the next day would be a mess
With Dao Mitch Ron and Andrea crying at the desk.
But the next day Into the Studio the Grip came a’walking
But what did he hear, but the sound of Ron Talking
And the Grip thought and he thought, and he thought thought some more
Until he had a thought he never had before.
The Daily Buzz isn’t about good spelling or big bags of money
Its about news, entertainment, and sometimes its funny
And the Grip, he still works on the buzz to this day
And he sold all his stole stuff online on Ebay.
